Bespoke fluids
Halo P1 has been designed to meet the performance needs of professional racing across a wide range of applications, but there are of course situations where a particular problem needs a bespoke solution.
The Halo Technical team have already formulated the first two ‘Halo Bespoke’ brake fluids for major racing brands, and can work directly with race engineering teams to produce bespoke formulations based on their unique requirements and specifications.
The Process
Discovery
An initial consultation phone call, video call or in-person meeting with our technical team and yours. What problems are you trying to solve? Or what benefits are you looking to achieve?
Brief
Confirm the brief and the initial investigatory work to be carried out.
Exploration
Componentry and material testing.
Depending on the brief, we’ll run a series of tests and investigations into the components and materials you’re having issues with, or looking to use, and create a summary of findings.
Solution
A meeting will be arranged to present and discuss findings, communicate issues identified and/or recommended solutions.
Agreement on next steps
We’ll now need to discuss commercial terms and scope of any further work to be delivered. We’ll agree the next steps and project plan, and the project commitments for each party.
Sample testing
Our team will produce a lab quantity (up to 20 litres) for you to conduct testing in your fleet of vehicles.
Final testing and delivery
Depending on the project, this could cover: external testing, third party lab verification, liability and safety testing.

Braking is a crucial part of going fast and as we are always searching for ways to improve the car and lap times, also the brake fluid had to undergo testing.
We started testing with the big well-known brands and took this as a benchmark. When Halo P1 came across we were very sceptical as we thought it could not be better, but we were wrong.
The brake pedal travel is less, the pedal feel is better (even when the brake pads are getting thinner) and after a pitstop we could proceed racing directly with the same pedal feel as before.
Halo P1 will make the difference if you want the get the best performance from your braking system, like no other brand can.
Through an extensive test program of back-to-back comparisons, we were extremely impressed with the Halo P1 fluid.
Orthene have developed a brake fluid that excels in every aspect. Braking performance is improved, the compressibility of this fluid at high temperatures provides a much harder pedal for the driver.
Braking distances stay consistent with minimal fade, which inspires confidence in the driver to keep pushing in extreme conditions.
